A mutimillion-pound project to create luxury homes next to Newcastle Racecourse is finally under way.
All Saints Developments is building 14 contemporary homes within the Walled Gardens which are set to come to the market this summer, with work set to finish early next year ready for new owners to move in.
North East chartered surveyors and estate agents Bradley Hall has unveiled details of the £11m development, where the properties will boast a range of luxury finishes as well as sedum grass and zinc roofs, to mirror the leafy surroundings and former greenhouses of the Walled Gardens.
Based in the affluent suburb of Gosforth, The Walled Garden scheme will have access to a range of restaurants, pubs and retailers on Gosforth High Street, and Bradley Hall expect lots of interest as it will have excellent transport links for commuters and professionals.
The four and five bedroomed homes will be set within the four-acre site which originally served the 18th Century Brandling Estate and the initial sale of the site for redevelopment also supported a highly publicised improvement programme at the racecourse.
