3 Peak Challenge

On behalf of our chosen charity for 2019 we have planned an exciting fundraising challenge.

3 peaks in 24 hours!

We plan to take a team of 10 on this tough but rewarding challenge while raising funds for Hadrian School in Newcastle. The school cater for the needs of pupils aged between two and eleven years with a range of disabilities, including complex and severe learning difficulties.

The ‘3 peaks’ in question are:

Ben Nevis – Scotland’s biggest Mountain at 1,344m
Scarfell Pike – England’s Biggest Mountain at 978m
Snowdon – Wales’ Biggest Mountain at 1,085m

To complete the 24 hour challenge the team start at the foot of Ben Nevis and finish at the foot of Snowdon having reached all three summits.  The Challenge covers around 40km of horizontal distance and over 3,000m of ascent, all in 24 hours, with limited sleep.

We wish the team well and will keep you updated with their progress.
