Progress at Silbury Boulevard

Construction at Silbury Boulevard making excellent progress

Construction on our project at Silbury Boulevard in Milton Keynes is progressing well, with rapid transformation both internally and externally.

Externally, windows have surpassed the half point of installation, with first and second floors remaining. The rain-screen cladding system begins shortly with the insulation and bracketry works to be completed first.

Internally, apartment and internal partitions are ongoing throughout all six floors, swiftly followed by mechanical and electrical first fit out.

Alex Howe, Apprentice Site Manager said: “Now that the superstructure is in place, with the roof watertight with windows swiftly to follow, work is now focused on filling out the structure and really bringing it to life. The project is now in its second year, and the team are excited to see the scheme come together with the internal fit out progressing with speed.”

This development of 139 private rental units is on behalf of The High Street Group, and is United Living’s second steel construction project, following on from the first steel frame structure scheme at Black Dog Way in Gloucester.
